why would you make a thread clownin on Duncan, dude is arguably the best player in the league, two time MVP, two time Finals MVP, two time NBA champion, and has averaged 20 and 11 his entire career. Personally I consider him to be a pure center, but no matter what position he is definately one of the best ever. I'd take him on my team over Shaq any day of the week son..

I see nothing wrong with Duncan other than the fact he is a dull person, he show's no emotion all.
Malone or Duncan? That's a good matchup, Sir Charles hmmmmmm I don't know.....Duncan does play the game very fundamentaly and you can't stop his bank shot.

i would take duncan over malone everyday of the week and twice on sunday. malone never won a ring. and the dude had stockton as his supporting cast. you couldnt ask for a better pure point guard to run your offense.

thats nonsense, there are so many factors that go into winning championships. Just b/c a player didn't win a championship doesn't necessarily take away from his status. Malone and Barkley were two of teh best low post players to ever step on a court, rings or no rings. Jordan just happened to coincide.. there are a million piece of trash players who have rings, what does that mean for them. Does that mean Robert Horry is teh best player in the league b/c he has more rings than any active player or does it just mean that he has been in the right place at the right times, i.e. Olajuwon, Shaq, and Duncan

No it doesn't, but look at some players who only play for stats and not team play. They never win, I am also talking from personal expieriance.
In Basketball we have a ball hog who thinks he's Jordan, mind you he does score a lot but he takes away from the team and we lose because of it, all we get to do is stand there and watch him chuck...you lose interest.

Same in Baseball, some of these morons all think about is swinging for the fenches and not push the runner over.

Jordan became a champ when he learned the concept of team play. I don't think much of Horry but he is a team player.

I totally agree mayn. coming from the perspective of a person who loves basketball and loves to share the ball, I can't stand black holes.
I feel the best when my teammates are all involved and the offense is moving fluidly. its very frustrating

Rodman had no offensive responsibilities on the Bulls championship teams. No offense=more energy to expend on D. Malone was the man on both ends for Utah.
