Nutrient density of dextrose

My www.supplementdirect.com bag says that there are 76g of dextrose in 1/3 of a cup, I fail to believe that!!!

1 cup is 100 g, is it not?

100 grams in weight equals 3.5 ounces. If that helps any

Well... per weight it has the same content as plain table sugar (that is - 100g = 100g carbs = 400 cals)..

And sugar is ~4 oz (115g) per 0.5 cups...

So if you assume that sugar and dextrose have the same density then:
0.5 cups = 115g of dextrose
Therefore 0.33 cups = 75.9g

A little too similar for my liking... They may well be correct...

If you are going to be spooning out this stuff you might want to get some cheap kitchen scales - that way you can be accurate.

*shakes fist* dangit! Ive been taking 100 carbs pre and post workout!!!
