I went to the ER because I had blood in my stool (shit). So they told me I have a bleeding ucler. I go in on Monday for an endospopy or whatever its called....they want to verify how bad the ulcer is. I only bled for 2 days and been good now for like 5 days. So I assume it was minor. I am taking some pill to eliminate acid from my stomach for a month giving it time to heal.
My questions is can I workout and do cardio like I normally would....or can workouts effect an ucler?

well for those that care I just had an endoscopy done and no stomach ulcer...now they are doing some test this coming tuesday to check my small intestines by making me drink some stuff and taking pictures of my small intestines. Hopefully it is something minor. I was told it could be an ulcer in my small intestine causing the problem....I am hoping that its minor and not something like intestine cancer....I'll update this thread as I find out more info.

I drink no more then 1 time per week and limit it to 3-5 beers....that doesn't seem like a LOT of drinking.

Thanks guys!...so far milk helps....but I don't have to watch my diet for it....the doctor said that ulcers have nothing to do with eating any food even spicy stuff...that is just a myth....I am just taking some acid reducing meds and taking it easy until they figure out what is wrong with me.

I had a small intestine follow through and they found nothing wrong in my intestines either. The only thing left is a colonoscopy and they will have checked all my insides for issues....because of the black blood in my crap it would indicate something upper GI, and they found nothing. I can only assume at this point I had a bug or virus? Maybe something I ate scratched my intestines or stomach along its way out? Who knows. I go back to the GI doctor tomorrow morning at 8am so after work tomorrow I will post what the doc things or what is the next step. I have only bled for 1 and a half days....So its been over a month since any issues...so we'll see!
