Is it ok to dump old fashion raw quaker 100% natural whole grain oats in your protein shakes? ive been doing this for awhile now. I wanted to know if its ok to do this.

i do this at breakfast, before training, in the middle of the night, and also whenever i'm in a rush and don't have time to cook

I think they taste much better cooked, however I also do this from time to time.

I hate the taste of them cooked. I dump them in my shakes. When they measure a cup of oats, is that cooked or raw?

I don't get why but when i tried oats and whey ( choc whey mmmmmm ), the bits just made me feel sick. I think I'll stick with mrps even tho they are loaded with sugar. I just can't stop my gag reflex

I grind my oats in a mini coffee grinder, pour some water in, toss that oat powder in, and pound it! *shivers* MM-MM!

Raw.

1 cup raw rolled oated ~310 cals, 54g carbs, 10g protein, 6g fat.
