Too Much Water?

On a normal summer day i drink anywhere from 6 to 8 Liters of water. I do little to no cardio and work out 4 times a week x 30 mins each... not a lotta effort, just arms and chest.. Nothing intense...

I'm 160 Lbs @ 6 ft.. 17 yr old.... How much water is TOO Much water? I drink and pee like a monster... I am pretty sure i can do over 10-12 Liters a day, without forcing myself... I do 6-8L just by drinking whenever i get down into the kitchen. I can gulp down a 2L bottle like it's nothing..

I know that drinking water is good, but is this too much? Could it stress my kidneys unnecessarily?

a healthy kidney should have no problem with that much water. I drink that much probable 4-5 days out of the week but I also weigh 80 lbs more than you.

what's up with the arms and chest workout ?

you aren't going to gain a lot of LBM by training only the smallest body parts

I don't need/want body mass.. I look good the way I am weight wise... Could I add up 20 lbs more? Sure.. why not, but I wont kill myself doing it. Right now I only care about Arms (biceps + triceps) + Chest and back just to maintain the shape..

There's no rush, I'll do everything at my own pace, if it takes 1yr till im 180 lbs... So be it...

Just that I've also heard, a lot of water can lead to loss of Sodium loss, causing damage to brain tissue..

Eating too much salt then will decrease u r definition....

Conclusion: I think it's better to look a lil worse than actually have brain damage... Salt addiction here i come lol... Just kiddin

picture your body as a piece of fruit, lets say a peach for simplicity.

You have a great upper body, nice arms, chest, and a solid back. Your upper body is half of your body, and thus, half the peach. Half of your peach is firm, ripe and very visually attractive.

Now you dont work your legs at all, so this is the part of the peach that's all rotten and when you push in on it, its all mushy and brown. Frankly, I don't want mushy brown legs, so.. I suggest you get squattin

Rocky_B, that was pretty funny

I drink a ton of water, but I do a lot of cardio.. You're right about the possible sodium loss, and I make sure to get enough electrolytes to make up for it. Too much salt can make you bloated, since salt attracts water, but it doesn't make a huge impact.
