Any advice on small meals, or things i can eat that arn't bad for me, but will help my metabolism start to move forward again. Meal supliments or what not, anything to help me increase my waning apetite, and get my body moving the way it should be. Thanks in advance.. |

So it just comes down to the basics first. Slowly start to add in food - but if you can't handle food then liquids would be a good start. Just try to make them well balanced - rich in proteins, fats and carbs - so if you had a shake an example would be to add skim milk, blueberries, protein powder and some peanut butter. Try to slowly work yourself up from 2 meals and a shake or two, to at least 4 'meals' a day, and aim to focus on the food options which will help to maximise yoir health - such as lots of vegetables, legumes, grains, fruits, lean proteins, nuts, seeds and skim dairy. In terms of stimulating your appetite - there is a thread here that might be helpful.... But you will find that once your metabolism starts to 'fire' again you should become more hungry (and, if you start to exercise you should REALLY start to get hungry - this is one of the best things you can do to make yourself hungry!). If you want a little more info then there is a post on metabolism here and a post on starting out eating and working out correctly here that you might want to read.... |
