Which one's better? Cheers.

(on a cut)

Fat free, always, whether cut or bulk. There are so many much better sources of fat than dairy.

Agreed.

Sure, from the numbers. But the difference per cup is like 2 grams of fat or something? I can't stomach the fat free, but don't mind the 2%. It's the only way I get it down, with some cinnamon. I say go with what you can eat.

Suck it up and eat the fat free.

It's greul, man!! You have to suck it up!

AHhahahah... Neo, I'm not a huge fan of the texture of cottage cheese (which is what I think bothers people most about it). I find that if you grind it up in a blender w/ some water or milk and make it into a shake, that it is much more bearable (actually good to me).

But isn't the question either natural/whole cottage cheese or low-fat? I believe 2% is still considered "lowfat" according to the label. But if you are on a cut, I definately say go low-fat cottage cheese. Get your fat sources from elsewhere.

Sorry then - my grocery store doesn't have anything but 2% and fat free. I assumed the natural was 2%.

So I'm happy I conform! But man, that shake thought occured to me too - I blended up some cc with milk and WHAM - salty, cheesy milkshake. That calls for two of these guys!! and one of

I eat it with peaches when I'm bulking - then it's actually good!

We do not have fat-free over here. The closest we have is 1% and that is REALLY hard to find. 2% is the 'normal' low fat one here. The 'natural' is 4% fat.

But 2% is fine...

Do you have low sodium cottage cheese?

You can also eat peaches whilst cutting if you want... If your calories and total daily carbs are in check then it will not matter if you add peaches to your cottage cheese.

Hey, thanks Emma. That's good to know. But on Dante's advice I'm having it before bed, so I don't want the peaches then. From another post, I found that cinnamon does the trick

My grocery store kicks a$$. It also has a well stocked supplement and organic section, but the prices are marked up huge. I don't know how they rotate their inventory, cause I never see the stuff moving....but it's good in a pinch.
