Carb Cycling

Hey guys,

I want to start "Carb Cycling" (the article in the sticky by Twin Peaks.) Can anyone recommend good meals to eat and prepare, that have very close to zero carbs? Right now all I can come up with is a lot of eggs, and some whey mixed with water..

Today is my NO-CARB day and right now I'm basically just stuck eating eggs and a protein drink. I need around 37g of protein per meal.

There are lots of protein sources:

chicken
tuna
cottage cheese
protein powder
eggs/egg whites
salmon
crab
lean turkey
lean red meats
game meats (ostrich, deer, buffalo)
mussels
shrimp

And for a meal - simply add vegetables to all of them!

On no carb days you do NOT want to fall into a caloric deficit, so, make sure to eat enough 'good' fats (fat = 9 kcals per gram) to hit your daily caloric needs in addition to the kcals you are getting from protein intake.

Sources include:

Natural Peanut Butter
Walnuts
Cashews
Flax Seed/Oil
Fish Oil
Sesame Oil
Almonds
