Still learning the ropes, have some questions for you guys about bulking :
1-Do you eat the same amount of calories on offdays?
2-I upped my calorie intake by 600 to 2600, is that too much to do at once? because feel like i'm gaining more fat than muscle?
3- hows this for breakfast:
2 eggwhites
1 whole egg
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup NFcottage cheese
p-40, c-46, f-10
Thanks guys

I eat the same amount of calories on off days, but some people don't. Just as long as you learn your maintenance levels and such, either way works fine.

That is a massive jump in caloric intake. 600 is crazy low calories and bordering on anorexia. To be honest, I would just let the little bit of fat you gain be. Once your metabolism gets revved up then you can cut your calories more gradually to get rid of excess fat.

Breakfast looks good to me.

Naw, he was eating 2000 calories. He added 600 calories to his diet.

thats right. I was eating 2000 calories and increased to 2600, which I think for me is alot. Its tough to keep eating so much when you feel all your doing is getting fatter not bigger, and ruining the good work you had at the gym that day.

Were you gaining weight, losing weight, or maintaining on 2000 cals a day?

Posted by: weid34

I was maintaining, thats why I upped it. But I am worried 2600 is too much too fast.

no 600 isnt too much to fast
when i transitioned, i upped by 500 cals a week to go from 2500 to 5000. i know what you mean about feeling like youre getting fatter... keep an eye on your bf%, if it gets up to 16 or so, start to cut your calories back. are you takin creatine? it makes me feel a lot fatter.

no im not taking crreatine. Im very hesitant to put any of those kind of supplements in my body. Im only taking whey protein powder and a daily vitamin.
- How do you calculate your bodyfat percentage?
