WELL i always thought my diet was pretty Grade-A, but upon further examination i don't think it's quite up to par. i need some suggestions. My goal is to get a money maker ( those lines in your pelvis like an arrow), but i need a low enough body fat to get them. my workouts are pretty solid, i get atleast 5 hours of cardio weekly and i weight train for an hour 5 to 6 days a week. i dont think the issue is my working out

well here it is

Post Morning Workout
- 1 scopp whey in water

Breaky
[1/2 cup oats, 1/4 cup blueberry, 1/2 c soy milk w/ cinnamon and stevia] 4 egg whites, 2 tbsp salsa

Snack
Usually just whey in water again

Lunch
3 to 4 oz any lean protein (turkey, extra lean beef, chicken etc) 3 cups of salad and 2 tbsp light light light dresssing

Snack
1/2 c brow rice, 1/2 cup tuna w/ a lil soy sauce

Supper
same as lunch usually
OR
4 oz lean protein, broccolli, and a potato

i have about 1 gallon water a day and a shit load of green tea. i dont know if i should up or cut more things out. so confused bout this whole thing

holla

whey and water alone digests very quickly. you should add some carbs and fat with it to slow the digestion of the whey down.

you take efa's?

You actually need to eat more.

a very good point.. just keep doing what your doing, its working. BTW, that probably wont show if you dont have the muscles in the first place... try hanging leg raises and other lower abdominal exercises. Use them with added resistance if neccesary.

yah lately i havent been doin as many ab exercises, but some good solid ones where i really feel it. the roman chair is the one thats been burnin most for me. i also like reverse crunches off the bench. i think i'll add a medicine ball next time

try my diet posted on the above thread, my money makers begining to show... hehe

Haven't u heard the phrase "Abs are made in the kitchen"? Actually, u dont have to do a lick of ab exercises for them to show. all in dieting. but defined abs is another story. 2-3 times a week is more than enough. over working it can have the opposite effect...

Posted by: DontStop

i dont over work them though haha thats the thing. i hate doing abs so alot of the time i dont work on them, so when i do i pick affective ones. n yes i heard that phrase. thats y i posted my diet silly! so it can be critiqued so i can get a nice tummy

Posted by: Marky

how lean do u wanna be? i think women look sexiest when theres a litte baby fat on their stomach. U know how when the abs are about to show but not really?

To better assess your nutritional needs, it would also be helpful if you provided your age, wt., and bf%. Also, please read the stickie at the top of this forum regarding cutting and bulking.
