any suggestions for working on grip? is it a good idea to work grip since you dont want your forearms to be too tired for back exercises?

captains of crush grippers (see ironmind.com)

ring out wet towels as fast as you can

plate pinches for time

pinch plate flips

farmers walks

dead hangs

bent arm hangs

timed BB holds

towel pull ups

square beam pull ups

Masturbation is a good grip trainer

Just workout your grip at the end of the workout so your back work doesn't suffer.

Good list. Farmer's walks are my favorite on that list.

I would like to add the usage of thick bar training. You can wrap the bar in tape or something else for a similiar effect if you don't want to buy a thick bar.

Squeezing your hands in a barrel of sand, metal shot, or some similar substance is another good movement.

Gorilla hangs are also effective (Maybe that's what a dead hang is?). That is basically a limp hang from a pullup bar. You can do this with one hand as well.

I use square beam pull up to work my upper outer back! if you wanna be a thick woodchuck you better not neglect this important area that requires much isolation to reap the rewards of MAXIMUM GROWTH for an AWSOME back!!!!....

I am also in the process of a whole new revolutionary exercise it basically a flat dumbell flys but have a palm down grip! it works the INSIDE of you chest I know this cos i can feel it! dont tell ME about science! prove me wrong if you can

I MAN I FEEL I KNOW

The ones he listed, the beam should be small enough that you can place your thumb on bottom of the bar. This way it trains the pinching grip.

Get a plate loaded Hammer Strength Gripper
modify it and keep in your bathroom @ home
so you can grip train while you poop
