Did anyone watch WWF last night?

I cannot believe Hulk Hogan has made a "comeback" to wrestling! I saw him live back in the early 80's.

He still looks pretty good, lean and muscular.

Posted by: seyone

I can't believe he sold out.

Posted by: ZECH

I did. I thought Rock was going to kick ass..........does hogan dye his beard black????????

Posted by: KANE_VICIOUS

yes he does dye it. but i just cant get into the nWo angle. they kicked ass in WCW aaah those were the times i couldnt wait till Monday so i can watch the giant, hogan, nash and hall

WWF screwed up the wrestling world forever by buying wcw

Posted by: Prince

I would say that Hulk Hogan is a brunette and he dyes his hair and goatee blond.

Not sure why he is growing out a beard, maybe it needs to get longer before he can dye that blond as well.

Posted by: Mike51

ever since he became hollyweird hogan he's had that black stubble and blonde stash thing going lol

Posted by: RoCk79

Hulk Hogan back in wrestleing? Gees, I think I need to start watching it again..

Posted by: dvlmn666

yeah no kidding,

but Nash looks bigger than ever, to bad he is outa condition when it comes to cardio from what I've read.

oh well, HHH is still the man.

Posted by: jimmywang

hogan is going to be great

Posted by: irontime

I have to agree with Dvlmn, HHH rocks. He was my fav even before they made him a good guy, anyone elso watching wrestlemania?

Posted by: dvlmn666

I'm gonna order it and record it since going to see zombie. Well that or it'll be a late night.

Monday's RAW should be good to, the follow up to Wrestlemania usually kicks a$$

Posted by: Prince

Didn't he blow out his knee?

Posted by: seyone

I want to see Scott Steiner aka The big bad bootie daddy and aka big pappa pump. he was awesome.

Posted by: Mule

I wish Goldberg would come back but I heard he was sitting on his contract money and running his flower shops.

Posted by: dvlmn666

His knee is alright, he's just been playing the previous injury. That way he can come out and kick Jerico's a$$.

Steiner was good, but now he has something wrong were he can't even hold his foot straight, it just flops down **shrug**

Posted by: Hawkens

I enjoyed watching Hulk Hogan back in the 80's, but isn't he a bit old to be playing with the younger boys.

Hawkens

Posted by: seyone

Hogan is at his best playing the bad guy role.

Posted by: realdeal

HULKAMANIA LIVES FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: irontime

Well there was a lot of screw ups, especially for a wrestlemania, but at least HHH is the new champ!

Posted by: realdeal

id have to agree IT, there were too many screw ups. I hope HHH turns heel and joins NWO. and whats with HOGAN? whats he going to do next? Cant wait for Raw tonite.

Posted by: KANE_VICIOUS

hey realdeal are you a mod over at the wrestling forum at TheMayhem.com?

Posted by: dvlmn666

hogan is gonna become a babyface. I'm hoping HHH turns heal, but not with the NWO. NWO would just pretty much wash out the fact taht he's a champ with all there BS.

Yep way to many screwups. But then again, the people with most of the wrestlemania experience. AKA: Undertaker and Flair They didn't screw up as obviously. All in all I think there match has to be considered one of the best of the night.

HHH is champ

Posted by: realdeal

no im not a mod there

Posted by: Fitgirl70

What were the screw ups?? I didn't get to watch last night....can't wait for RAW tonight either......

Posted by: irontime

There were some really bad ones. in the first match William Regal had trouble getting his brass knucks out of his shorts and the ref and RVD had to stage a bs arguement. In many of the mtches the punches and kicks were stopped way to short. The worst was when Stone Cold went for a Stunner on Scott Hall. Steve kicked Scott in the gut and before Scott could bend over far enough Steve dropped the stunner and Scott stayed standing. They had to do it again. It was pretty pathetic for such a huge event.

Posted by: KANE_VICIOUS

hey iron time i bet you would have loved to help regal take out the "brass knucks" out of his tights

Posted by: Tank316

hey kane, you just dont get do ya....what a shame..

Posted by: KANE_VICIOUS

i wonder when does iron time lift or work since he spends all his damn time in here

Posted by: dvlmn666

Unfortuantely kane, if your here to keep tabs on him. when do you take your sorry a$$ to go work out?

Posted by: KANE_VICIOUS

i am injured right now so i cant lift for 2 weeks dvlmn666 i saw your pics over at the forum and boy you got nothing to be proud of.......newbie

Posted by: irontime

What the hell are you going off on. Your 6'2 and 180 lbs? That is frickin pathetic. If your really wondering I just got back from the weight room. I'm making you a challenge right now you little bitch, within the next week I'll put up some brand new pics of myself and you do the same. Dvlmn has got some size to him, according to your stats your a frickin toothpick!

Posted by: dvlmn666

newbie? awe hell, even as a Newbie, I'm bigger than your sorry a$$.

your probably one of those sorry little shiats who walks around the gym with WLS with nothing there. Or are you one of those poor little boys who scream like a biatch to try to get everybody's attention when your doin leg presses?

Come on stickboy, bring it.

Posted by: irontime

So little bitch, what do you say? Normally I don't put down people for their stats, but for you I'll make an exception. It takes a real brave guy to put down other people's pic without having the guts to put one up of himself.

Posted by: KANE_VICIOUS

i dont have a digital camera nor scaner

Posted by: Mule

NOW NOW! Children! Stop the bickering!

Posted by: Lightman009

I think Hogan should come back with his red and yellow. It's obvious he likes playing the good guy. Also, Triple H had torn his quad and was in rehab for 8 months and yes it was a real injury.

Posted by: dvlmn666

lightman009, I agree and from the looks of hit Hulkamania is coming back. **shrug**

and yeah HHH's quad was torn here in SJ actually. But he's back, I read that he was hurting pretty bad after Wrestlemania, that's why he didn't do much last night on RAW. Said it was all knotted up right after the match. But he's taking alot of punishment on that thing for only being back only 10 months after he tore it.

I hope he turns heal, seems to be his best role, plus he wants to. Maybe that's why they are turning Hogan babyface.

Posted by: Tank316

the writers and staff have their hands full when it comes to writing story lines,it would be a fun gig to have though.ah yes, wrestling,a mans soap opera...i love it.

Posted by: naturaltan

did anyone see the monster that came out during Mavis' HC title match? He was massive ... and poor Spike got pounded ... just like a spike. I haven't seen anyone as physical with the powerbomb since Sid Vicious

Posted by: Burner02

...so is Hogan gonna be good or bad this time?
I cannot keep up.

Didn't Goldberg get injured (his hand or wrist) Forced an early retirement?

Posted by: naturaltan

It's looking like he's gonna go good ...

Posted by: Tank316

Brock Lesnar is from Minnesota[golden gopher], he was a ncaa heavyweight champ.he was a monster back then,i think he only 22/23.

Posted by: Scotty the Body

I saw a clip on raw last night, that guy is one big MOFO!!

Posted by: naturaltan

yeah Tank ... that's him! Brock ... what a monster. He will bring some excitement for sure!

Posted by: Skyliner

The way that Brock d00d delivers those offense looks so wicked. The whipping is high impact all the way. Damn he looks freakin impressive

Posted by: Tank316

i think he passed on the olympics for this wwf thing.he was a friggin animal on the mat,i watched him once, just friggin unreal..and he has gotten leaner for pro wrestling..i wonder what he's making$$ wise..

Posted by: naturaltan

more than you or I ...

like I said before, if you didn't see RAW, Spike Dudley earned his keep with only 3 power bombs. Even though most of us agree that wrestling is entertainment, and that it's fixed, there can be no denying that they take bumps and bruises. I wish I could have sen the look on Spikes face when he read the script and then saw the monster.

Posted by: Tank316

aint that the truth

Posted by: Lightman009

Brock Lesnar is quite impressive but amateur wrestling wise Kurt Angle said that he beat him convincingly. However, it must be noted that they are in different weight classes and Kurt was too fast for him.

Posted by: Lightman009

Nah, Goldberg has talked with Vince McMahon and stated that he is not ready to come back to wrestling since he is still collecting paychecks from the company set up to handle WCWs old contracts. Maybe when those paychecks stop coming he will come back to wrestling. I think he would be an excellent Heel.

Posted by: dvlmn666

NT, he was on Smackdown tonight to. that dude is FRICKIN HUGE!!!. yeah he looks like a bigger badder Sid

Posted by: Tank316

i missed smackdown cus the the cable company switched to the Minnesota High School basketball tourney.what a rip off...

Posted by: naturaltan

dvlmn666, I missed smackdown ... hopefully I'll see him on RAW. He might become a favorite of mine ...

Posted by: realdeal

hes all traps, i think he needs some delts to match.

Posted by: dvlmn666

realdeal has a point. but he's just intense, totally reminds me of Sid.

Yep NT, might become one of mine to. All depends on if they give him a good storyline. Otherwise he'll have to wait to become one of my fav's.

Right now nobody beats HHH in my opinion.

Posted by: irontime

Haven`t seen, or even heard of this guy Brock yet.

Posted by: dvlmn666

Yes he is stunner, but HHH is still The Game and Undiputed Champ as well

Posted by: Scotty the Body

I couldnt' beleive he just through rakishi around like a rag doll!!

Posted by: naturaltan

he's big power!!

Posted by: ZECH

Posted by: Tank316

yes, hes a monster, i met him at the u-w of minnesota about 2 yrs back, he was a monster back then..

Posted by: Mule

He might be big but can he act.

Posted by: Tank316

huh, whats acting got to do with wrestling.

Posted by: irontime

Just seen what happened to Rikishi, holy crap i thought that move would be limited to the smaller wrestlers only. What a frickin monster!

Posted by: realdeal

WHAT!?

Posted by: naturaltan

what is he like in person?

realdeal ... BL picked up Rakishi and lifted him over his head ...

this guy is pure power ... he might be all traps, but he's got a lot of power in those traps!

Posted by: realdeal

yes i saw that, but h just looks funny to me with huge traps and no delts to match.

Posted by: Tank316

nt.......down to earth back then, i'm sure all of this wwf thing is alot to handle. but who knows.............

Posted by: Mule

You seen the Rock lately.... must be on the stacker 1,2 or 3 getting lean.

Posted by: Lightman009

Yeah he seems smaller then he used to be.

Posted by: bludevil

I think he had to get leaned up for that Scorpion movie

Posted by: HardBody007

Did you guys hear he might be leaving WWF to act in more movies? I dont think he was the good in his last movie he was ok but he will never be the next arnold or van damme or dolph lundgren

Posted by: Tank316

theres been talk about it..the Rock leaving..i hope what ever he does, he kick's ass at it..

Posted by: Lightman009

I dont think he should leave, I think he is a terrible actor. The WWF is perfect for him. He might end up like Chyna, who left to do movies, where the hell is she now?

Posted by: realdeal

he will try to do both as long as possible, which he should do.

Posted by: PrecRoy

pro wrestling hahahahahahahahahahahahaha what a joke

Posted by: realdeal

Did you hear about Razor (Scott Hall) and Mr. Perfect getting fired after getting into ttrouble on their flight back from the UK.

Also goldust might be gone to.

its going to be hard to remember the new WWE name.

Posted by: Fitgirl70

What does WWE mean? And what happened to the "Federation" part of it?

Posted by: THE_GAME

I haven't watched wrestling in a couple months. I have no idea what is going on, I miss watching it.

Posted by: Lightman009

The WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment, they changed it because of problems using the name WWF in other countries which have the World Wildlife Fund, also WWF. They also stated that they wanted to push the entertainment name in their company so WWE emphasized the promotion of their entertainment value. Yeah I heard about Mr. Perfect getting fired for what he did on that plane ride, also Scott Hall was released because he kept showing up to shows drunk. It pisses me off because he was such a great character.

Posted by: superphenix

Hmmm, for some reason I though Hulkster passed away from all that "roid" uses. I guess not...

Posted by: Triple Threat

I think their new commercials are clever, too. Get the "F" out!

Posted by: googs

hogan looks good for 50 odd but he still has that whole saggy baggy thing going

Posted by: 5abi

hogan owns to bad he left again :'(

Posted by: Tank316

Posted by: ZECH

Yeah..what's up with that???? He's too big to not be seen again. I think something is going on!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, he also got arrested for beating his wife. What a winner

Posted by: Prince

he quit? are you sure it's not staged?

My thoughts exactly!!

Chances are it's staged, isn't the vast majority of wrestling "staged"?

Posted by: dvlmn666

Actually I think it's real, his ego won't let him job to any of the new guys. So what better than to go out when your on top.

Well that and his style of wrestling it was getting harder and harder for him to compete with all the high flyers and risk takers.

just my .02 though.

I agree, hero in the ring, zero in real life. For that, F'him.

So, Mr Perfect did what and got fired? I don't follow much anymore, but I remember him when he was new.

I guess alot of people hated Ultimate Warrior, but good god, when I saw his first match I was like WTF AND WHO THE F IS THIS GUY? He beat the living snot out of his opponent (a nobody of course), and just was a freaking animal.

I started watching once in awhile only recently, Hogan for his age is still in awesome shape, wether he looks like a doggie or not.

I liked the Ultimate Warrior

I heard Scott Hall got kicked out for coming to a WWE event drunk or something.

...btw, it's all about Kane The Big Red Machine ^^

Posted by: Mudge

360 is a HUGE overhead press, believe it! There are a few BBers who can do 315+ behind the neck, the record is probably low 400s, hmm.

Nassar threw the 200lb DB's above his head for three reps didn't he?

Posted by: Mudge

Nassar rocks

I have no idea, I think the most I have heard of officially for behind the neck barbell was 365 from a BB'r. I'm thinking his midsection is the only reason he doesn't score better, who knows.

Posted by: Tank316

Curt henning can be an ass and the next time a saint, he's so moody. his father is totally different, larry the axe would give ya the shirt off his back to you..Scott hall is a recovering boozer. alot of these guys i have met through the years being so close to the cities.i have played golf with Jumping Jim Brunszell a very down to earth fella.

Posted by: bludevil

My fav of all time has to be the American Dream Dusty Rhodes.

Let's get funky like a monkey.

Posted by: Tank316

sounds like his boy Dustin is weird, his Golddust character is weird too.

Posted by: bludevil

yeah, I think Dustin plays that Golddust character a little to good.

Posted by: Jarhed

yes he does.

Posted by: dvlmn666

Brock just pressed Mark Henry over his head.

Posted by: Tank316

he is an animal.

Posted by: david

All I know is Eric Bischoff is funny as hell and with him in the WWF, he could take it back to ne w heights. That is, if Vince doesn't fuck things up!

Posted by: Tank316

the wwe is in way ''hurtin'', their ratings are down [tv] but the pay per views are doing alright, but could be better. Eric Bischoff, indeed, had Ted Turners money behind him, but it takes balls to do what he did when he ran WCW.Will he help WWE, i dont know, time will tell.and if Vince would shell out some more meaningless millions, he could get Goldberg and several other big name draws to WWE. its all about the BUCK.

Posted by: david

But does Goldberg really deserve to have more than HHH, Rock etc.? I liked the guy but his demonstration of sitting back, kicking back relaxing collecting money will hurt him. However, he is a SMART MAN bc/ I would do the same. He collected, made his millions on his ass and will come back commanding a lot of money like the Ultimate Warrior but his character is now, less meaningful. You can't be a wrestler all your life, unless your the Nature Boy or Hulk Hogan! Look at Sid, at the top of his game and now will always be only 70% effective!

Posted by: 1xDeatHsHeaDx3

Brock, put Big Show on his shoulders for an F5, he's also release suplexed this guy...

Posted by: david

I don't know how Brock does that stuff... Big Show certainly can't jump and to hoist that guy above and throw or whatever is incredible. Just like Angle's Angle slam the big show! Impressive!
