I started really hitting the weights at the beginning of August 05 after I had lost ~50 lbs. I figured I should start hitting the weights, so that I look toned and not flabby. My question is whether I am doing the right thing or not. I do cardio about 5-6 times a week for 40 mins and hit the weights 3x a week.

My goal is to lose a couple of more pounds, but also tone up. I was wondering if it is possible to lose weight and lift at the same time. I am not sure if I am counteracting losing weight with lifting. I take in 1800 kal a day.

Also would taking creatine effect either of my goals, and if not what type of creatine should I take?

Thanks.

Were you overweight before? 1800 cals seems low for a 19 year old, even at 140 pounds.

Ya I was almost 200 lbs before. When I lost the weight I only did 1500 Kal a day. But I bumped it up to 1800 Kal a day for lifting.
