I got this idea for the thread from Prince and sending out the message on how we should donate to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. And how I am doing my share. Here is my question:
Have you ever lended a hand to help a person or a big group?
I have my shae of me lending a hand. I will get to them later. But I will share somthing cool that I am doing:
At the resturant at my college that I am working at, I am going to be helping with a fundraiser to raise money for the victims of hurricane Katrina. This Saturday, I am helping serve food at a banquet. And all proceeds go to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. So it should be awsome.

I usually slap in the face random people in the streets to see if they wake up for life.

I refuse to help anyone that is not a friend or family member

I have never helped a bigger group like victims of environmental disasters. But my best friend is in auxiliary fire brigade and he often has to help some people. Just recently there was the biggest flood here in Bavaria, Austria and Switzerland for many years. So he had to drive together with his workmates to some conflict areas to help the people over there and to back the local fire departments.
