Soz to keep pesting you guys about vitamins, but I dont always get too muchfeed back in the supplement/diet forum, and I wouldnt think Id need B5 until I start using AS, so technically it has some connection .

Has anyone heard of this Vit. B supplement. It talks the usual bravado like every product, but what does everyone think?

Hey guys, I bought some of that b5 powder as you advised. Problem is, its repulsive when I mix it with water or tea etc. How the hell do you take this stuff? If its still as rancid, its back to the expensive tablets. Shit. Cheers guys.

Tabs should not be expensive at all for B5.

Yea, they aren't that much. How much are you taking? I get like 4g a day, and it costs me like 5-10 a month.

If you mean me, I dont take any right now. For the original poster though, tabs should be $5 a bottle or so, www.swansonsvitamins.com or www.puritanspride.com

Not sure about Europe and England etc.

haha, you've obviously never visited a Holland and Barretts store before!

I dont walk into stores unless I want to pay 2-3 times as much, General Nutrition Centers is one example.

I just go to my doctor and get the B shot once every 6 months.
I believe it has all the b vitimans you need.I do it mainly for the b12 but I think I remeber my doc saying it has all the b vitimans the body will ever need for 6 months.

High amounts of B5 are used to help with acne. Otherwise a healthy individual needs not that much, most of it you should be getting in your foods. Vegans could be at risk and need to supplement however, but they should know that.

B vitamins are also water soluble and dont stay in the body very long at all. I'm not sure what is comprised of your shot to make it last so long, as for orals though I spread my B5 doses through the day in at least 3 sittings.

B5 is the greatest thing ever for acne
