what are the transverse abdominis muscles?

starting a new ab routine and one of the exercises says it works these muscles....what are they and where are they located?

Transversus abdominis: Deepest ( innermost) muscle of abdominal wall. I'm no expert on this but I believe they cover the entire innermost area of the abdominals....so the top of your abbs to the bottom and also under the internal obliques...

For example the first or outside muscle is the external oblique, next is the internal oblique and lastly the transversus abdominis.....so 3 layers of abb muscle the inside one is the transversus abdominis.....so it has two layers of muscle covering it...

So no they don't show.
