Rebound XT for AAS recovery?

(CLICK HERE here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

1. will this suffice in replacement of nolva/clomid for pct from say a 12 week test cycle?

2. what would be the benefits of rebound over nolva/clomid?

3. what would be the drawbacks of using rebound?

4. and are side effects similar (such as on eyesight, liver damage, depression)? any new risks/sides to RXT?

thanks for your time

no and none.

Technically, you could use it, however given that we've not seen any anecdotal feedback on this, i'd recommend you go with the tried and tested HCG/Nolva route.

Rebound is solid for PCT for a 2-4 week PH/PS cycle, and theoretically would help during PCT for a 12-week test cycle, but i'd be safe if i were you.

That is a silly answer. They are different compounds, with different effects, and different modes of action.

My two cents: If you want to use an AI and no SERMS, use .25 mg Adex/day for your PCT. Only problem is this: Estrogen Rebound after you stop. I don't think using just an AI for pct would suffice, although it will increase your LH. When you stop the AI, your estrogen might increase enough to slow your natty test production--which is why some nolva would help.

That being said, I feel like 6-oxo worked great for me after a 1-AD cycle that lasted 8 weeks.

no pirate, i have no problem with using nolva pct, i just wanted to know if RXT could be used for pct in place of clomid/nolva as i originally assumed it was a SERM, but i now understand it is an AI, i just didn't want to be taking unnecessary risks in running nolva if there were viable alternatives, i definately need a very good pct as i felt i didn't recover too well from the dbol (ran nolva and vitex only)

this time i plan to run nolva for 6 weeks, vitex, nettle root, 7OH (lean extreme), fenugreek, avena sativa, cee and maybe some eph pre-workout, i'm certainly taking pct a lot more seriously this time round!

would you say there is any real benefit in adding adex to my pct?

I was not dissing your product.

I know. I didn't take it that way. I just didn't think it was a fair response, given the question. Pirate's response was a fair one.

IMO, yes. I ran it for the first two weeks of pct with SERMs, and I think it helped considerably. Remember, estrogen is one of the main inhibitors of your HPTA. If you have excess estrogen in your system going into the first week or two of pct, your recovery will be slower (delayed) compared to having very little estrogen.

I like this plan and the logic behind it (except I don't react well to large doses of clomid): http://www.ironforlife.com/t144-pheednos-pct.html

so you recommend just running the dex for the first 2 weeks only, then taper off the dose to avoid rebound? (i will be on nolva at this time anyway)

i plan to run 0.5mg of adex ED on cycle (maybe 0.25mg or 1mg depending on how i find it), at the start of pct do you just recommend cutting it down to 0.25mg ED? or just continue with whatever dose i was running on cycle?

is it worth even bothering with clomid at say 50mg ED for the first week, i'm really worried about the side effects from it on 'sight' and (suprise suprise!) 'depression', i think i'm more concerned about the sides from the SERMS than the actual steroids!
