I have only been working out for about a month and the only supplement I use is whey protien. Is it really important for me to use creatine if I want to see considerable gains? Another thing to take into consideration is that I'm a lacto ovo vegetarian. Is it true that meat is the only natural resource of creatine?

You do not "need" any supplement. If you have only been training for a month you should focus on your diet and training, especially protein intake. 1 gram per pound of bodyweight.

ditto to what prince said. learn how to eat, what to eat being your lacto ovo vegetraian.train hard, train smart and eat right.studing up on the supps you think you might want to take later on down the road.a good multi vit is alright for now.and drink plenty of aqua...

What was said previously is all very good advice, however, creatine is certainly a supplement to consider down the road. I have found creatine to be about twice as effective for those on a meat free diet. It is probably the most effective supplement a vegen or vegetarian could take for performance enhancement.

Thanks for all the advice. I'll continue to do my current routine for awhile and consider adding creatine in the near future.

I've been trainning for over a year , continous. Is it about time I tried creatine?I was training a good few years ago , but stopped , other commitments were in the way. Will creatine really show results of my hardwork?

Sure, you can try it. It can't be guarenteed it will work for you, but it does have the best "track record" out there, and is the most thoughroughly studied supplement on the market. Give it a shot!

pg, now that you got a year of training under your belt give it shot.you'll like it.
