I weight 170lbs and I heard I have to take 1gr of protein/lb. It seems nothing considering a chicken breast can weight 130, and then I only have 40 left for another 4 meals. Today I counted 220 on a regular day. what will the excess of Protein do? its confusing.

No...a chicken breast is roughly 25-35grams of protein depending on the size...not 130 grams!

ps...220 grams of protein seems fine for your weight.

Like your own muscles a chicken breast will also have other things like water (most of it is this), fat and a trace amount of connective tissue too.

For information about how much protein is in foods you could try:
http://www.nutritiondata.com
or
http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/

ps: For your weight ~220-250g of protein would be fine. And 'excess protein' will be absorbed by your intestinal tract and will be used in your body as energy (eg: converted to glucose) rather than being used for anabolic/growth or cellular purposes... If you have excess calories then this protein will eventually be converted and stored to glycogen or converted and stored as fat.
