When was this photo taken? It looks like Jay is still pretty close to contest shape and not really in the offseason at all, like I would expect him to be if the photo is recent.

This was taken yesterday. I dropped by the gym to do some cardio in between drop off/pick up of my daughter...he was there signing autographs, etc.

Nice guy. Huge guy.

Yep and not in a good way.

I took that photo using my Pocket PC/Phone so I was looking at it while I was on the treadmill. Every time I looked at it, I increased the incline.

A photo got me inspired to lose weight last time, I think this one may do the same for me again.

Nope. I grew alot in college, didn't start lifting regularly unitl I was over 30 and was far too much of a worthless punk to work that hard.

I was recruited by the smaller SC colleges, including Furman, but was not offered a scholarship. My dad tried to get me to walk-on but I refused. Had I done it, I'd be wearing a National Championship ring today. Given my growth in college, I probably would have played some b/c I would have outweighed everyone on the Offensive Line.

The other side of the coin is that if I was this big in college, I am not sure my wife would have been interested. She's stuck with me now though.
