I will be having surgery this friday for a torn Meniscus (medial). This will be an out paitient surgery, but will require me to go under general anesthesia.
I know we are not all doctors, but, as i have not received a call back from mine, I thought I would post the question here.
My current stack consists of:
1-AD
Clenbutrx
Thyrox t-3
Does anyone know if the Dr. will require me to come off the supplements and if so how long before surgery? Any information from past experiences will be helpful.

before I had my nose surgery I had to got to preadmission a few days prior. during that visit they told me to list all drugs and supplements that I have been using. Im sure they will tell you but it is probably safe to just discontinue use. anything that might thin your blood, increase blood flow or heartrate should be stopped.

Take several grams of "C" with bioflavinoids before and after (3-5 daily, back off at lose stools). Right before and fter use a homeopathic Arnica 12c-30c to reduce inflammation and pain!
Before, avoid "E", ginkgo, cayenne as they thin the blood and may promote excess bleeding (usually not a problem in the knee area)
Also if you are getting a general, check for interactions with the Clenbutrx and anything else you use for stimulation or sleep!

I have some additional information. I finally had a chat with my ortho surgon and I showed him my stack. He said that there would be no problem just as long as I did not ingest anything 12 hours before surgery.
I also had to have my preop work done yesterday, and my EKG cam back normal. I will post the results of my blood work when I get it back.
