I bought this small canister of glutamine. A week later I realized that the protein I'm using has glutamine in it. (it seems most do) So if I'm taking plenty of protein in the form of shakes..lets say 2-3 shakes a day -- no point in me mixing a scoop of the straight stuff into a drink twice a day right? What can or should I do with this canister of glutamine?
thanx.

How many grams of Glutamine are there in each serving of your protein? It would say if you passing the 25-30g mark save it until you need it.

My jar of MRM protein here says 4266mg of "Glutamine & Precursors" per serving. The jar of "Glutaform" says 4.5g per serving - recommending 2 doses, after workout and before bedtime. So 2 protein shakes is a bit more than 8 grams...pretty close to the recommended usage on the glutaform canister. Is it safe/common to use much more of it?

I didn’t really felt any difference until I got into the higher dosages. Yes it’s safe to consume that amount.
