I dont know if its bad or not but whenever I drink a lot of diet soda I feel like crap and have head tickles... Same thing with when I use sweet n low or splenda.. Im just gonna cut it directly out so hello bitter oats and cottage cheese... they say sugar is much better..lol! but I aint going that route either

I feel that all that propaganda about artifical sweeters is crap made up by sugar co.'s because they face losing lots of money. If it's so bad, then how come some sugar co.'s are now making "sugar blends" like Splenda's, that are a mix of real sugar and art. sugar? Domino(one of the largest sugar co.'s) is who I am referring to. I'll keep eating them, but that's my choice. If they are bad, Oh well, we all have to die from something.

Easy, stop drinking those damned diet soda's and dont add any splenda type things to your food.

There was a discussion on the health risks of this stuff here:
http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/sh...ad.php?t=49476

Basically, there is no conclusive data to suggest it is harmful.

However, false sweeteners can increase insulin levels and make you hungery, so if this concerns you you might want to cut it down or look for alternatives.

The only way to avoid the sweeteners, natural or artificial, is to buy the natural whey or isolate!!!!! Taste can be tough, but I have several bulk buyers who choose to flavor it themselves.....plenty of natural ways to flavor without sweeteners.

Maybe the problem isn't with the sweetners...

Maybe its the Shit quality whey you are using! -

http://www.holisticmed.com/aspartame/ Some interesting stuff about sweetners.....my kids are gonna kill me now.....I have taken sugar out of their diets, now I have to take the sweetners too? Oh lord......

Check out Jay Robb's Whey protein powder and Egg White protein powder. Both have none of the artificial sweetners you mentioned. The whey is sweetened with Stevia only and the Egg white is sweetened with another natural sweetner. I forget the name right now.

They both taste really well. Not the cheapest, but one of the cleanest proteins I have had.
