If 15 pull ups is your goal then work on doing 15 pull ups. Do as many reps as you can. rest and then do more...do as many sets as you need to do until you get to 15. Each time try and do it in less sets. |

You can also try doing negatives. Basically, start at the top and hold the bar until you are completely at the bottom portion. I did these when I couldn't do a pull up in order to develop some of the strength I needed. I can now do a few in a row, which is a huge improvement from not being able to do even one.
