While on steroids do u have a lees chance of getting the flu or a cold?If you already are sick, do steroids help you to recover faster?

i know im prolly wrong here, but i thought when on steriods, they boosted ur immune system, making it harder to get sick in the first place.

It does...at least they've been testing that out on HIV/AIDS patients in an attempt to boost their immune system, and to a certain degree they've been relatively successful.
