Okay I'm 19 5'9 and 130 pounds. "Damn kid", haha yeah I know.. Anyway, I have never had a big appetite like most people I know, and I drum hours and hours a week so I lose whatever I gain by sweating my ass off

How can I change my eating habits? I started eating a can of tuna a day on a sandwhich or whatever... but any tips would be apprecaited. I don't want a crazy eating routine, but I wanna beef up my appetite so I can put on some weight/muscle

thanks in advance, and sorry this is my second post asking something heh.

Are you training or just hoping that by eating more you will put on more muscle? Post a sample of what a typical days diet consists of for you and we can help you more.

I used to be similar - just never particularly enjoy eating that much.

Now though, the combination of exertion and guilt if i dont eat encourages me to eat as much properly and healthily. Variation is good for dinner I find but I keep my lunches and breakfasts similar to help with my routine and time.

okay, sorry guys. I'm surprised how un-helpful I'm being after being a long term member on another forum . Honestly, I don't have an eating habit. I eat at most 3 meals a day with random snacks inbetween. Really I eat whenever I'm hungry. I have never also had a large appetite either, but I'm starting to eat big meals before I go to bed to change that. I have always had a bad diet because I was picky with what I eat as well.

I know you guys are going to tell me to EAT EAT EAT, but I know that. I'd really like to know what normal foods out there (not some crazy conconction burger or anything weird) I should focus on as opposed to others. I work out about 5 times a week and I'm looking to have muscle. I'm not looking to be a body builder or HUGE because I don't like how to much muscle looks, plus I'd like to be able to whipe my own ass

Basically, any tips you can throw at me is what I want, I'm very new to working out and eating right and I'd like to do it right the first time around

nice avatar! I swear I've met her!

I had a drummer buddy who had massive calves(double Bass) and forearms. keep it up

As a child I did not eat much, never played sports, and got into music. Love guitar

When I was 19 I was a total 160 lb. ecto. dripping wet. 28" waist
I could eat everything in sight and not gain a pound.

When I was 30 I was eating protein powder, 2 qtr pounders and 2 orders of fries every day for lunch and still couldn't reach 180 while I was working out. Not the best diet and now I know it was not just calories but more importantly what and when to eat.
It wasn't till I was about 35 the metabolism slowed down a bit.

now some 30 odd years later I weigh 200 and while I not ripped(yet) I have made better LBM through a clean proper diet first and lifting secondly

give it time, don't overtrain, be patient, gain valuable info on these threads to increase LBM
your age is your best asset right now.

Man, If I had all this IM info when I was your age, I would be a bad mofo now. I gotsa lotta catchin' up to do.

Good Luck
