Hi all,

Alright, i am happy with my lower body, but upper body is a bit of disaster, i noticed some improvement from time to time, but i want to be a bit fuller and bulkier, especially with my guns.

So, what is your routine and do drop for a line of advice.

My stats:
Age: 22
Height: 178cm
Weight: 80kg
Training routine: 3-4 times p/w, 2 days split (2yrs)

Bench press: 70kgx10 (max: 80x3)
Bench Pull: 60kgx10 (max: 70x6)
Dead lift: 80kgx10 (max: 100x4)
Triceps Pushdown: 50kgx10 (max: 80x5)
Preacher Curl: 35kgx10

Your triceps extensions are stronger than your bench

sorry... actually refering the triceps pushdown

At a weight of 80kg you aren't going to have massive guns unless you are really short. Generally it takes anywhere from 10-20 pounds of muscle to net you an inch on your arms. You have a lot of eating to do my friend.

you should still work your legs even if you want to add mass to your upper body. Working the legs produces a large anabolic response from the body, if you want to grow you especially if your going the natural route training the legs is a must.

Let me get this straight. You can do as much weight with tricep pushdowns as you weigh. I doubt it. give us some real figures so that we can help you

haha well spotted

its physically imposible to push down more than you weigh

I think he made a mistake. There is no way that 50x10 translates to 80x3.

Unless, of course, you strap yourself down to the floor with duct tape, but who's that dedicated? I mean come on people...

But since it is on a pulley system, 80kg probably isn't really 80kg of force if you know what I mean (AKA you can do different maxes using levers and pulleys than you can with free weights).

Yeah... triceps pushdown i can do a heavier weight because its a pulley system.
