Maintaining strength while cutting

I have sucessfully been cutting for 4 months now. During these months I have seen very slight decreases in strength, and every now and then an increase.

That has stopped.

I'am now beggining to lose strength at a faster pace as the weight plumets. So, should I up the calories and try to slow it down? Or, should I keep going?

Do you have calipers or anything to insure that it is fat you are losing? Theoretically, you shouldn't really be losing strength as a result of cutting unless your muscles are atrophying.

It's not an extreme loss, but it's noticeable. I think it is more due to the lower caloric intake. Btw, you're up late.

Yeah, that probably is the reason. I don't like to cut faster than 1lb per week. At 2lbs per week I lost some muscle.

Yeah, I went to see a HS classmate's show. There were a bunch of people that went to my HS there. Kinda cool.

Once I get to my target bodyfat and start to clean bulk up again, hopefully my strength will return, and increase again.
