When to use? Bulking? Cutting? With what meals? I like to mix the low-fat, low-sugar kind with my cottage cheese before bedtime, its the only way I can choke the stuff down.

I love yoghurt and it is very healthy for you - as long as it is the natural set, fat-free, no added-sugar stuff.

High in calcium, high in protein... it lowers cholesterol, helps weight loss, boosts immunity, aids in helping your intestinal flora, decreases the risk of some colon cancers and helps in stabilising blood pressure too! (plus it is really tasty! )

It is beneficial for both cutting and bulking, especially when you want a slightly higher insulin response (such as pre-workout). The only meal I would not highly recommend it be used in would be in a PWO shake - as the acidic properties and consistency make it coagulate in the stomach so it delays gastric emptying...

There is a good thread about it: here and another: here

Thanks again Emma

Should it say natural set somewhere on the label? If so where?

It might not say that it is 'natural set' - but it will have a VERY short ingredient list (eg: skim milk, live cultures or skim milk, milk solids, live cultures). It should not have added sweetener, cream, pectin/stabilisers or anything like that.

It should also say something like: 'Live and Active Cultures' on the tub/lid - as this ensures the bacteria are present.

A really good product (if you can find it) is Fage Yoghurt...
