Exactly, to say that you can't is like saying you can't train for strength. Patrick for example has posted info on Olympic lifters being faster than world class sprinters for the first 10 meters, that is achieved through EXPLOSIVE training.
If you couldn't train for speed then sprinters wouldn't do shit in the offseason, nor would there be such a thing as "football practice" if you either can or can't do it. You can "school" the body, you may not become world class but you can make changes. |
