Origin of the "prohibition" against Homosexuality

Where did the "prohibition" against Homosexuality and Homosexual actions come from?

Look to history for the answer.

Religions in the past - and even present - have fought with each other over who's religion was the "right" one - or "wrong". In the past especially they killed each other over who was "right" and who was "wrong". As a result of this fighting there were many killed and injured - MEN especially. During this time and before, and since actually, Men have been having Sex with Men - it is something that always has happened it being a natural occurance in Nature of which Man is a natural part. TOTALLY RIGHT AND PROPER! A NATUAL variation as with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in Life!

Because there was a tremendous amount of Men dying in these Holy Wars there was a need for more Men to "fight the fight". It was realized that in order to have more Men to "fight the fight" there had to be more born and for that to happen Men then "could not sleep" with other Men IF there were to be other Men born SO>>>>> THINK ABOUT THAT!!!!! REAL HARD!!!! Religions HAD to have MORE MEN born in order to have Men fighting religious wars SO THEY COULD WIN and IF MEN were having Sex with other Men this was not the way to have more Men born SO.....

Thus the "prohibition" and the REAL REASON!

God - HIMSELF - and Christ - HIMSELF - NEVER SAID ONE WORD - THEMSELVES against BiSexuals and Homosexuals and BiSexuality and Homosexuality. PERIOD. FACT!

Look at Botany. Look at Biology. Heterosexuality, BiSexuality and Homosexuality ARE NATURAL VARIATIONS of Sexuality - each other their purpose(s). NATURALLY!! CORRECTLY!!

If there WAS something somehow "wrong" They (God and Christ) CERTAINLY WOULD HAVE SAID SO - THEMSELVES - and probably MANY TIMES. THEY NEVER DID! EVER! FACT!!

Obviously these women were repeatedly raped. These sick bastards killed and raped an entire town and then wanted more virgins, so they hid beside the road to kidnap and rape some more. How can anyone see this as anything but evil?

In the Middle East I would think they would still think this kind of behavior as "just fine" and "proper" given some of the things that we hear of from that area of the world... (And THIS area is where we are told "religions" especially Christianity has its origins...!!!)

In the USA most would think this type of Man to be a stalker at the very least....

Of course "relgioius rape" and "taking women" for your wife in the manner described in these passages are "ok"....

You are not understanding.

All I am doing is sharing information with others - especially those interested in KNOWING TRUTHFULLY information as it relates to Human Beings. And their ultimate happiness - and honesty that is associated therewith.

I am interested in discussing things with those that are sincerely and honestly willing to do so as a mature adult.

You seem to have a very closed mind and are completely unwilling to look at ALL aspects of a subject HONESTLY without prejudice. That is NOT the mark of a person who wants to learn - HONESTLY. I understand where you are coming from.

I can ask you the very same question: HOW do YOU KNOW - how could YOU possibly KNOW this NOT to be a FACT as I have put it forth to others? Do YOU have evidence to the contrary? And you can say, "yes, but you have to have faith..." - well, that is possible BUT people are told Santa Claus is real too or how about the Tooth Fairy... For sure the Bible was written by men, over 40 and over a long period of time - written by human beings, people with their strengths and their weaknesses as with any human being and their personal aggenda(s) - (and in THIS part of the world(!!!!) if you look at it today, and it is NOT any different then it was in the time of Christ, I HIGHLY DOUBT there is ANY credibility with regard to anything that comes out of the Middle East - look at the BULLSHIT that has ALWAYS happened in this area of the world!!!) Bio-Chem says that "silence denotes approval" (HIS words, not mine, but since he and some others here are in the business of "damning others" for their supposed "sins" I think it incumbent upon those being attacked to at least give their side of the subject. I like being as totally objective as is human possible about everything. SEEING things from ALL sides of it TRUTHFULLY AND ACCURATELY AND COMPLETELY. There is no other way to find truth truthfully.

Remember that Heterosexuality, BiSexuality and Homosexuality DO EXIST in Nature and the Natural World and always has and human beings, whether they like it or not, approve of it or not, agree with it or not, that does not change the FACTS. Variation - variety - exists in ALL THINGS in life and in living, Sex and Sexuality is a part of that life and that living.

You raise a good point. Now, you need to see the discussion from ALL sides and do that with a completely open mind. You do display the ability and desire to "ask and seek truthfully". Using common sense here is also imperative.

While we are all on this topic, we have to remember that Men, that lived during the time when the "Prohibition" first appeared, DID what THEY WANTED and as they saw it. They were very unlikely to listen to much of anything. They lived freely. They DID what came natural to them. With this in mind it is completely understandable that SOME would want to "stop" what comes natural to others especially if those so involved ENJOYED what they were doing and FOUND IT TO BE COMPLETELY RIGHT AND ACCEPTABLE. Certainly some, as with anyone, abused others, but like anything else this does not include the ALL of everyone, only some - that is no reason to damn all.

You also have to ask youself: "How is it that so many Men found relationships with other Men to be so right?" A question like this is best answered by those so involved if they chose to make their private lives the business of someone else. Otherwise it is always between those so involved. It IS truly a personal matter between those that care for each other honestly.

Having honest feelings for another - as long as they are of age and ability of consent and give that consent freely - feelings that include mutual respect, honor, dignity, etc., is what is paramount.
