I was always curious as to what people thought of Gauceau's Vitamin Water. Today they came to my school and were giving away free samples, and I was looking at the ingredients and asking questions and the guy said that they were all natural ingredients, all complex carbs, and the sugar was all glucose as it is in fruit right off the tree or bush...

what do you think of this stuff?

Doesn't glucose at one point also turn into fat? I personally don't see the need for it I would take plain water any day.

I like it but I don't really drink it anymore. I'm staying away from vitamin water and drinking water water.
They also make Fruit Water which has like 12.5 grams of sugar in the whole bottle.

I drink a vitmain water sweetened with splenda. has 200 percent of 20 vitmains, and 20 minerals. if it is ice cold the lemon is ok.

Well - being in Aust. I have never heard of the stuff before.

But taking a look at it on the web... Looks like pure fructose in a bottle to me...

So...

No.... Not the best thing.. I certainly wouldn't touch it...

You would be better off having a peice of fruit (at least it offers things like fibre as well).

well the kind i use has 2g sugar, andwater, and vitmins. that is all.

Posted by: soxmuscle

darn, i was really hoping that rep's claim that its the equivalent of eating a bunch of fruit was true.

thanks emma.

In my country there are plenty of mineral Waters,

Almost every village has its unique mineral water

I drink mineral water all day. I never drink usual water

Now I have on table mineral water with ingredients:

Mineralization Gr on Liter: 5.9g/l

Major Ions included

Cations mg/L

Ca2+ 36-112
Mg2+ 34-120

Anions mg/l

NCO3 2400-4400
CL- 42-95
SO4 2- 70-244

So is it safe and Do I get minerals what is needed for bodybuilder?

This water is intended for Stomach aches, but is recommended for all

Why do we even need vitamin water? Just regular water is good enough and it is good too..

Over priced sugar water. Nothing more nothing less. Not gonna kill you if you want to drink one once in a while, and lower in sugar then many others, but still empty sugar calories you don't want to load up on. Simple look at the label tells you pretty much all you need to know:

Ingredients:

Vapor distilled, deionized water and/or reverse osmosis water, crystalline fructose, citric acid, monopotassium phosphate (electrolyte), ascorbic acid (vitamin C), natural flavor, dipotassium phosphate (electrolyte), magnesium lactate (electrolyte), gum acacia, calcium lactate (electrolyte), niacin (B3), ester gum, pantothenic acid (B5), pyridoxine hydrochloride (B6), b-carotene (color) cyanocobalamin (B12)

Nutrition Facts:

Serving size: 8 fl oz, Servings per container: 2.5; Amount per serving: Calories: 50; Total fat: 0g, Sodium: 0mg; Potassium: 60mg; Total carbohydrates: 13g; Sugar: 13g; Protein: 0g; Vitamin C: 40%; Vitamin B3: 20%; Vitamin B6: 20%; Vitamin B12: 20%; Vitamin B5: 20%; Potassium: 150mg per bottle

Conclusion: A glass of OJ and a Centrum vitamin costs less....

Totally agreed with WillBrink. Its pure waste of money, just drink regular water.

Additionally most people who drink these toss the bottles in the trash and add to the landfill, what a shame.

That's a good additional point I hadn't thought of.
