I just saw it today...Is this just as good as oats, or even better? Also can I eat this cold like oats as well? I know it has oats in it, but also some other things.

Damn, this stuff looks pretty good. High fiber and seems all natural ingredients.

INGREDIENTS: 100% NATURAL ROLLED RYE, BARLEY, OATS, WHEAT.

Nice find. I'll try to find it next time I'm at the grocery store.

Looks great .

And if all the ingredients are steame and rolled - then it is fine to eat raw too... But if you were worried you could also soften it in a little water/milk/yoghurt/SF syrup (that is - moisture of choice) for a few hrs before eating it... this would help with digestion...

"Quaker MultiGrain combines four great tastes from four golden grains. Rye, Barley, Wheat, and of course, Quaker Oats, are perfectly blended to create a "Multi Delicious" hot cereal. This product is in limited distribution and may be difficult to find in some areas."

This stuff is great! I made it this morning with 1 cup of skim milk in the microwave, dropped 1 packet of splenda in it and it was good!!

It basically looks like oatmeal, well it is MOSTLY oatmeal, but has stuff mixed in. I definitely recommend this to the people who eat oats like 4x/day to change up your morning carb source!!

Whats the worst thing that could happen if i eat them raw? Would I get sick??

Also do you think these are fine to eat, everyday? I've been using this and oats as my carb sources, with fruit/veggies thrown in.

I was wondering if the GI is high on these? Or if it would matter? It seems that its very small pieces like Quick/Instant Oats, BUT it seems to have some bigger pieces too, hard to explain. But there is alot of small pieces. Just wondering if this as good as the oats/brown rice I usually have. I don't wanna hurt my diet.

6) Barley contains the fungi Aspergillus ochraceus which produces the mycotoxin Ochratoxin A. This mycotoxin is associated with many different documented cancers.
* Barley that has been cooked in soups is fine. Cooking kills most of the fungus. Cold barley for salads is deadly. Refrigerating will cause the fungus to multiply even in soups.

I found these at my grocery store yesterday.. they were about 3x the price of regular oats. They also only came in the small size.

Whats the final verdict on this stuff? My friend says the stuff isnt as good as oats, sweet pototoes, or brown rice...

I don't see why this wouldnt be as good if not better? He says its processed...

Anyone think I can have this stuff as a staple (2 meals a day) and be just as optimal?

It is just the same as eating rolled oats... If you are happy to eat rolled oats that many times a day, then there is no reason why you could not eat this instead.
