Olympic lifts, farmers walks, sandbag work, unilateral exercises, GMs, SLDLs, etc.

I'd recommend a good mix of rows, pullups, and deadlifts. Hyperextensions and squats are good news too.

Google is a wonderful tool.
Search for the C&J and snatch.
Farmers walks involve carrying a heavy weight in each hand and walking a set distance with said weight.
Sandbag work involves lifting a heavy sandbag in some way - cleans, walking with it on a shoulder, bear hugs, whatever.
Unilateral exercises are exercises like one-armed deadlifts, cleans and snatches - stuff not done with both sides of the body.
GMs are good mornings. Look that up at exrx.net.
SLDLs are stiff-legged deadlifts. Look that up at exrx.net.
All of these exercises will hit the back quite extensively and develop an enormous amount of functional strength.
