Sorry, not aware of a powerlifting gym in the area. There is a decent heavy iron gym up on Cave Creek , somewhere around Greenway, west side of road in a strip mall. Can't recall the name ( Yep...I know of it...Iron Works Gym....I was friends with John the old owner a few years ago). What I like to call a "pit" (meant in a positive way). Lots of iron and no shiny pretty stuff, but mostly a BB's hang out.

There have been some really good powerlifters who've come out of Phoenix in the past, so I am sure there is one (or more) here somewhere. I can ask around.

I'm pretty much sold on home gym training. Can't compete any more due to injuries, but I still try to hit it heavy when I can. Have a pretty decent setup in my garage. Take a look at the pic gallery on my site when you have a chance.

If I hear of something, I'll post it for you.
