For some reason I am not gaining any muscle but instead I am jsut getting mroe difined, there is no real result. I know I am getting stronger becuz I can put up more than I used to be able to but by the looks of it I am still the same skinny kid. Ive been extremly skinnny all my life. Two things to consider:

1) Are you eating enough? Check out the guide on diet/nutrition and it explains how important the right diet is in muscle building.

2) Are you doing too many reps at lower weight? Generally speaking you should do sets of 4-8 reps on heavier weights to build muscle bulk, and 10-15 reps on lighter weight for toning. Perhaps your routines are tending towards toning rather than bulk building?
