He said what happened between him and Terrell Owens was "black on black crime" and that by Owens saying they would be a better team with Brett Favre behind center, it was a slap in the face.

"It's different to say, 'If we had Michael Vick or Daunte Culpepper or Steve McNair or Byron Leftwich," McNabb said of four black starting quarterbacks. "But to go straight to Brett Favre, that kind of just slapped me in the face like, 'Wow .."'

Maybe because Owens thinks Favre is a better quarterback?

I'm tired of this morons making everything a race issue. Owens is a prick, McNabb is a racist idiot. They deserve each other.

I wonder how long it will take for public opinion to turn. How long before the public just starts saying "SHUT THE FUCK UP" every time some dumb shit like McNabb says something like that?

I mean, 30+ years of preferential treatment in education, employment...etc. hasn't done anything. If anything, it just makes people complacent with the idea that they are owed something. In 30 more years do you think people will start catching on that race is only an issue because we make it an issue? But that doesn't make it a race issue. Owens, maybe surprisingly, just wanted to insult McNabb with race aside, or maybe he thinks Favre just needed some better receivers (such as himself) to do well. Who knows, but McNabb took it upon himself to make it a race issue.

Im sorry, i hate football, i think it a boring sport (im from europe, forgive me).. But i know a lot about the race card, see I have been called a racist many times and sometimes i really feel like one. One example: No one is allowed to ride the greyhound bus when they are drunk, in my city 9 out of 10 indians (native americans) are drunk's at least 9 out of 10 that i deal with, well you kick them out of the bus station and they roll down the street screaming racist...................You stop a black guy in a cadilac escalade with tinted windows, rap music blasting and a red or blue bandana on his head and you think to yourself "wow, this fellow must have a nice acounting job downtown", no u think to urself, "this car might be stolen or he is doing something illegal to support this lifestyle."...........Fuck that im so fucking sick of people calling the race card......now fuck everyone who is about to call me a racist because im not, I have a black friend that is really cool, he is a college student and has a good job and lives like everyone else, he doesnt seem to be complaining...but when i first met him way back in highschool he told me about a time when he was pulled over by a cop becasue he was driving to close to his backside, well the first thing that came out of his mouth was "he pulled me over becasue i was black", then i responded noooo, he pulled you over because you were close to his ass, then he called me a racist and i called him a nigger, we got in a little fight and then we became friends (true storry)....

Exactly why Terrell Owens shouldn't have blamed Donovan McNabb for the Eagles sucking. Owens essentially destroyed that team.

I think everyone is making too big a deal out of McNabb's comments. I swear, McNabb is the Alex Rodriguez of football....not matter what he says or what he does, someone gets mad at him for it (of course, McNabb isn't a buttplugger like A-Rod).
