Is b12 worth it? I've heard some postive things but nothing too great.

For the price I'd say it's worth it.

I hope so as I inject 1/2 cc once a week. In a matter of fact, just injected 12 about 5 min's ago

What effects do you get with b12? I know the sense of well being rises but what else?

I basically use it for added energy.

It is also supposed to increase appetite. Franco was a big proponent of B12
I read somewhere vitamin B-12 doesnt hold up too well in the liver.
I use Twinlabs sublingual dots as a daily supp. I am always hungry and therefore eat everything twice. LOL

TOM, where do you get your b-12 from? Is it oil or water based?

if you are getting a boost of energy from B12, you should really consider looking at the rest of the B family. Sounds like you are deficient somewhere to me.

IMHO B12 is severely over rated. I think people like it because they get some satisfaction out of feeling some almost instant effects in sublingual form. But, it has like zero metabolic functions. Also.. the mega doses that most of these people recomend limit the avalibility of the rest of the B complex family.

B12 is about the proper oxygenation of red blood cells and preventing anemia. Honestly, this is more benificial to steroid users as it protects their bone marrow in their de-calcified bones (a result of bypassing some parathyroid system responses and a cause of fractures, cramping and fatigue).

B6, Choline/Inositol, Folic Acid and Niacin... now THAT's is where it's at.

B12 is good for stimulating hungry... that's about it IMHO
