Now this is a good move, he will turn that Franchise around in no time at all.

TORONTO, ON, Canada (UPI) -- The Toronto Raptors Tuesday named NBA Executive of the Year Bryan Colangelo as team president and general manager.
Colangelo resigned a similar post with the Phoenix Suns on Monday. He was in the Phoenix organization for 15 years. He was general manager for the past 11 years and team president for the last seven.
Colangelo was responsible for a Suns team that reached the playoffs eight times in the past 10 years and posted an overall record of 476-366 (.565) in his 11 seasons.
'The Toronto Raptors offer one of the best situations in the NBA, and I`m thrilled to be coming here after 15 years in Phoenix.' said Colangelo. 'The Raptors have an ownership group committed to building a championship club, have some excellent young players around Chris Bosh, are positioned well against the salary cap, and reside in one of North America`s premier cities.'

I hope so.... They have a good young team, and quite a bit of salary cap room next year.... hopefully things are on the up. It has been a rocky road the last few years.

I like the move, name wise. He adds the credibility this franchise is desperate for. With he and Embry thinks look good.

I think a lot of things he did were the responsibility of others though, or atleast mainly. Namely the onwer and scouts.

JJ trade for Diaw + 2 1st's (+ not giving JJ the max)
Nash signing
Marion + Amare drafts

he also gave huge contracts to penny and googs dont forget.

I don't think that the Franchise needs to be 'turned around' so to speak, I think they are already on the right path. They got a couple of real nice young bigs to build on, most teams can't say that. I really like Chris Bosh's game alot. always been a fan of Jalen Rose, I mean I could go on but they will be consistent playoff team within a few years

Looks like a good hiring.
