"Lagers can contain up to four milligrams per liter of potent antioxidants called prenylated flavonoids. They're found in hops, and in a lab study they kept LDL (bad) cholesterol from morphing into its artery-damaging form. According to the Oregon State University study authors, hops are a better source of antioxidants than red wine, green tea, or soy products. Granted, to get the maximum benefit, you'd have to drink something like 450 liters of beer every day. But the researchers do say that every bit counts. We agree."

Man I miss drinking a cold beer. I promised my wife I wouldn't drink any beer while she was pregnant because she couldn't. It was pretty easy at first but it's been getting harder lately...

In moderation, I think beer is healthy, the moderation part is what's hard! It's easier for me to just not drink.
Although I did have 2 beers last Friday night.

They also contain a lot of humulones, aka diuretics ...
So if you're already drinking 2 gallons of water a day,
steer away from the beer or get yourself a personal urinal at work!
