I really don't like running on treadmills, and I'm planning on busting out the good ol' cleats for HIIT running. With three days though, I'm not sure which day I should do the HIIT running. Would doing the HIIT running on my leg day be something to consider? Or do you think I should keep days far from leg workout? |
| As for different types of cardio, I plan on doing a bunch. If my budget allows it, I plan on getting a sled from elitefts to do some field work... the thing costs a freakin shitload though... |

HIIT is great, but I feel there is too much bias for it in this thread; running is excellent too.... especially if your goal is to get better at running.

don't run on a treadmill. run outside. why do you need cleats? i told you which days i'd do it on above. if you can do HIIT on leg day you're not working legs. a bunch??? you won't be doing anything to preserve lean muscle mass by doing a 'bunch' of cardio. |
