My Test, Tren, Drol Cycle

I just started this cycle on 03/06/06

I'm front loading 1000mg of test the first week then the cycle will goes as follows.

Weeks
2-10 500mg Test Cyp
1-10 400mg Tren E
1-4 100mg Drol

All pinning will be done on Monday & Thursday. Drol will be ingested 9:00 am & 9:00 pm ED.

Starting weight 239lbs with approximate BF @ 9-10%

Goals are to increase strength to a ridiculous degree as well as reach and sustain a weight of 260+lbs. Diet will be relatively clean. Although, fat gain is not a major concern of mine. If I can reach my above weight goals while maintaining my BF @ less than 13% I'll be happy.

My current strength is down about 10% from my 1RM due to my recent cut.

My training regimen will be a take off of Ironman's routine. I will be working out on M/W/F. I will be training each body part with only 3 working sets per session 2 times per week. Concentrating on mainly compound movements.

Day 1: DB flat bench(chest), DB shoulder press(shoulders), French press or weighted dips(tri's), BB Shrugs(traps).

Day 2: Pull ups(lats), T-bar rows or DB rows(upper back), Hack squat or leg press(quads), Ham curls(hamstrings), Standing calf raises(calfs).

I will rotate these 2 workouts for the length of this cycle.

The first 6 weeks I will be doing 3 working sets per exercise. 1st set 8-10 reps. 2nd set 3-6 reps. 3rd set 10-15 reps.

Weeks 7-10 I will be concentrating on maximal strength. All working sets 3-6 reps. I may slip a 1RM in there somewhere as well.

All critiques are welcome.

Thursday 03/09/06

Weight is up to 244lbs this morning. I feel a bit stronger probably due to the Drol + water weight.

Let us know how the Tren E feels, it killed my kidneys and I had to stop using it...I was doing about 375-400mg a week.

Foreman, give me an idea what to look for? What were your symptoms?

I can tell you my urine is now a permanent shade of yellow I assume from the Drol. Yes, I'm drinking a shit load of water!

Just a constant pain in my back right where my left right is/was ....

How many cals are you consuming? Forgive me if I missed it.

I want to do a similar cycle soon but I will be cutting and I will not be using drol. I was thinking about Tren, test e, and EQ.

Tren E never messed with me except my prostate, same with drol. As for the infamous back pumps I only get that with high volume or heavy orals + lots of SLDL work. I've had insane shoulder pumps too a couple years back that I would describe as painfull.

I'm doing my best to get 5K+ calories ED. Like I said I'm doing it as clean as possible but my focus is not on a clean diet as much as overall strength and size. Given my dietary restrictions 5K is a hell of a task for me.

Posted by: largepkg

Mudge, in your experience with drol how quickly did you start adding weight? I'm on day 5 and I'm up 10lbs! Now I know this is mainly water weight but I kinda hope it slows a bit I don't want BP issues.

My strength is already climbing nicely I can't weight until the tren kicks in, it should be fun.

Posted by: largepkg

7 days in and I can't get over the strength increase. I can see why Drol could be very dangerous. With gains like these I can see others abusing it. Current weight is 251lbs. That's 12 lbs in 7 days!

Guys I know you here others praise this stuff and you think maybe they're exaggerating. They're not! I'm doing triples of my previous 1 RM with ease. I did leg press this morning and pressed 24 45lb plates for 6 reps. I didn't think I would get 3 reps. I'm not sure if this is impressive, but to me it is.

I can't wait for the Tren to kick in. This should be a fun ride.

Any suggestion? I'm a sponge.

Just be careful. Keep in mind that your tendons are losing tensil strength while your muscles are rapidly gaining strength. Keep your movements paced and controled. The fun ends real quick when something tears. Also, the tren may reduce your appetite. Be willing to eat what you have to get the calories in. Good luck, bro.

Yeah, I've heard that about Tren. Does Drol increase your appetite? I've been eating like a pig this week and I am always hungry. Obviously the Tren hasn't hit me yet so I'll keep on the look out for the symptoms.

I thought drol killed appetite. Never used it though, just saying that from reading other people's experiences.

Weight is 249lbs. I'm down 2lbs from my high. I'm sure it's just fluctuating water weight.

Everyday I go into the gym I'm increasing the weight. Today was chest, shoulders, tri's, and traps. This routine is working out fairly well so far. The only problem I have is I normally work chest first which is taking some weight away from my shoulders. Maybe next workout I'll do shoulders first.

I did 8 reps with the 125 DB's today. I'm at a point where I need to make a decision. My gyms DB's only go up to 125 and I need more weight. I either need to go to BB or DB incline.

For shrugs I've been using the Hammer shrug machine. I like the way the grip is in a neutral position(at your sides)and would love if my gym had a BB like this. They do make them, right? The problem is the hammer only holds a total of 10 plates and I'm repping that 10+ times. The BB seems to put some stress on my back at high weights so I prefer the Hammer machine. If I had BB with a side grip I think that would help with the stress. Oh well...

I have no sides at all to speak of other than a little bloat. BP is in check and everything else feels real good. I'm starting to feel the Test so hopefully the Tren is following closely.

Weight is 253lbs.

I'm feeling incredible. The Test has definitely started kicking in. I think the Tren has as well. Not real sure though. I only know that I'm getting extremely strong and it seems as there is no let up with increasing weight each workout.

This is the best I've felt by far on cycle. I have this incredible feeling of well being. Not sure what this is all about but I like it.

Zero sides, none, nada.

You can call me Superpkg for next 8 weeks!

Posted by: BigPapaPump68

damn, sounds like your cycle is going great. Good luck. Also what are you going to run for PCT?

Posted by: largepkg

Good question.

If I end this cycle at 10 weeks I will run HCG weeks 6-12 @ 500iu's E3D. Followed by Nolva 50,50,40,20

I think I might extend the cycle though. What I was thinking of doing is cruising on 300mg of Test weeks 10-14 then running 750mg Test & 800mg EQ EW weeks 15-22. With the goal of cutting some fat that I've gained. We'll see.

Friday March 24, 2006

Weight is at 254lbs.

Bad news: Monday the 20th I was in the gym doing workout #1. I just finished DB Military press and all was fine. I went to DB flat press and on the warm up set with 75's I laid back as usual but the DB in my right hand went a little to far backwards. No biggie right? With this light of weight you just correct it and off you go. Wrong! I tried to correct it and had a ridiculous amount of pain in my right elbow. I was forced to drop the weight. Tears were shed. Yes, I'm a pussy.

The precursor to this is I've been fighting tendinitis in this elbow for about 9 months. It's from to much softball (throwing motion) and racquetball. It's classic tennis elbow. Now it went to another level. I swore I tore the tendon.

Anyway, I scheduled a Doc appointment for Thursday the 23rd. So no workout Wednesday.

The strange thing is I've had no pain since this incident. I explained to the Doc and he said it's classic tendinitis and he doubts I tore anything or I'd been in a lot more pain. He gave me a cortisone shot and told me to be careful with it and to make sure to ice it repeatedly after W/O and ball.

Due to hand position and stress on the elbow I will need to modify my workout. Form here on out I will be doing no more DB's. There is just to much play involved with DB's for me to risk hurting myself more. I will replace all DB movements with either BB or hammer machines.

Todays workout went well. It was workout #1. I did BB bench for the first time in at least 6 months and felt pretty good. I did hammer MP and that went well too. Towards the end of the workout there was a little pain in the elbow but not to the point where I needed to stop.

The true test will be Sunday's softball game. This is by far when it hurt most. We'll see...

I'm sorry to hear about your injury, and it comes as no surprise to me. I hope your recovery is quick and smooth.

I did have this injury prior to this cycle. It's been bothering me for about 9 months. Up to this point it's only shown itself during s-ball or racquetball.

The funny thing is I choose this split because of the low volume. I figure this would reduce the risk of injury.

I stopped the Drol completely as of last Monday when the injury happened. Maybe this will reduce the chance for further injury?

Keep working shoulders after chest. Your body will adabt. I had the same problem for a while and once I adabted then no more problems.

I've never had an issue with losing hair on any of my cycles. I guess I'm lucky. Now my elbow...not so good. I may need surgery. The doctor should be calling me today after reviewing the MRI. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Posted by: Hlanderr

you still alive man?

how goes to weight pushin and pullin
im interested in your strength gains.... never really seen a log of this cycle's caliber...

give us infoooooooooooooooooooooooo

Posted by: largepkg

Sorry brother. I've been slacking with the entries due to the elbow tendinitis.

Good news is there is no tear. Bad news is it still hurts pretty good. I've found that taking 800mg of ibuprofen prior to my WO limits the swelling and pain.

If I didn't have this damn injury it would be sick how strong I've become. Every movement is pretty much a personal best right now. I'm getting very strong but I'm hesitant to really push it because of the elbow.

My legs on the other hand are ridiculous. I pressed 32 plates on the leg press Wednesday! Every bit of frustration I have is being relieved on leg day.

My weight is steady at 256lbs. I still have no side effects that I can tell. I have seen a touch of anger pop up which is completely unlike me. I'm able to control it so no biggie.

I truly believe if I didn't have this injury I would have achieved my goal of 405lbs on the bench. It will happen, but it will take just a bit longer. I'll get to 380lbs so I'll still be happy.

Thanks for the interest.

Posted by: Hlanderr

glad to hear from you, but sorry to hear about the inj.... no tear is definetly good news though

i hear that on the hesitant pushes of yourself..... better safe than sorry.... getting to you goals slower than planned is much better than not getting to them at all

and 32 plates.... in the words of foreman.... my head just exploded

haha keep up the good work
