Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, brown chicken and chopped onions in oil. Add whole
onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, and garlic. Cook 3 minutes. Add
mushrooms, parsley, and thyme. Arrange in a 2-quart casserole dish. Add
wine. Cover and cook 2 hours; stir occasionally. Thicken with cornstarch
and water at end of 2 hours.
Serving size is 1/6 of recipe.
