I am surprised no one posted about this yet (i think?). Anyways, for all you hardcore basketball fans out there, what are your picks?

I got pitts, duke, uconn, and BC in the final 4

they have potential. I mean, they are really strong and have some big guys up front. The are very good in the paint and move the ball around very well. However, the only disadvantage is that they are slow and usually have trouble keeping up with a speedy team like duke.

They only got blown out once this year, lost to duke by 2 points twice this season as well as a handful of other games. I think they'll make it far.

winthrop had that game .. tenn. is overrated

Upsets I correctly picked in the first round:

Texas A&M over Syracuse (15 over 2)
NC State over Cal (10 over 7)
Bradley over Kansas (14 over 3)
Alabama over Marquette (10 over 7)

NC State was the only upset I picked. Good pick with Kansas losing. I know many people who have em going to at least to the elite 8, some Final Four.

I'm hopin Duke gets knocked off next round because I have Texas beating them to get into the Final Four. I don't know how realistic it is Duke losing to LSU/A&M though. Most likely gonna come down to Texas/Duke.

Tennessee was a horrible team. How Boston College, the 7th ranked team in the country got a four seed over those bums was atrocious.

All these upsets tell you just how poorly the committee did this year, although i don't doubt they did it on purpose considering how exciting this years tournament has been lately.

I would like GM to beat Wichita b/c I had Michigan going to the elite 8
But I need Bradley to beat memphis cuz i had Pitts going to the elite and im sure lots of teams have memphis....so it doesn't look too good there. Although O'Brayant looks real good, I'll need a monster game from him for Bradely to win

I'm in first place in both of my pools. 34-12 after the first two rounds, currently sitting with 12/16 of my Sweet Sixteen teams still in, 7/8 of my elite teams still in, and all of my final four teams.

Hopefully I can pull this off and win some cashola. Either way, GO EAGLES!

Wow what an ending to the WV/Texas game. WV ties it with a 3-pointer with 5 seconds left. Texas comes down and Paulino hits a 3 as time expires. Good thing I got them going to the final game.

I liked George Mason this whole tournament until the moronic CBS commentators were dick riding George Mason hard the whole game. So ridiculous. They'd get more excited for a UConn turnover than the bucket that sent them into OT. I know it has nothing to do with GM, but the combination of the pro-GM crowd, ridiculous commentators & my bracket getting fucked up made me hate GM. I hope they get spanked by Florida/Nova.

UConn was not sharp AT ALL in this tournament. I'm not too surprised that they lost. As much as that sucks for us UConn fans, you've got be happy for the Mason team.

Uconn is definitely not overrated.
They have the best team in the country, they just underplayed ALL tourney like IAB said.
Oh well, it happens.

I'm still alive in one of my brackets with UCLA winning it all, and I had FLA in the Final 4 (with UConn/Duke......which won't hurt me too much, since I'm sure everyone had Duke in the final 4, and being in CT, EVERYone had UConn)

To be honest, a big part of me wanted Pacific to beat UConn the first round and be the first 16 seed to beat a 1.

Like I said, yes, UConn not only played like shit vs. UW, but all tourney.

Sorry bro,

but the officials were awful for BOTH sides.

Calhoun got a T in the first half for throwing the ball to the other ref instead of the one closest to him.
They didn't have control all game long, and made shitty calls on both sides.

I hate LSU because they beat my team "TEXAS".

I decided to pull for UCLA for the rest of the tourny and I am glad they completely destroyed LSU.
