dumb stuff but i don't know so i have to ask.
do you measure 4 oz of meat using the uncooked weight?
also if you have 1 Tbs peanut butter are you getting a measuring spoon and measuring out a level TBS or more like a slightly rounded teaspoon and calling it a TBS?
just wondering how exact people get
if i want to start weighing - are those cheapy diet scales fine?

even dumber - what if your chicken is frozen? how to weigh then? (can you eyeball it and figure about the size of ??? equals 4 oz?)

I'm getting pretty good at eyeballing my food, but I still weigh it. I always weigh my meat after it's cooked...which ever you choose, be consistent, uncooked meat is going to weigh more than cooked. A scale does not have to cost much....mine was under $15.
I just use a regular tablespoon for the p/b...it's runny, so you can only put so much on before it starts to come off, lol, but I use a tablespoon measure for everything else!

oh....i can't be trusted with the pb. if it's been in the fridge awhile it stops being runny and i bet i could get 4 Tbs on one!
thanks again
