I feel like a wimp because it is such low weight and it looks like it was hard because it was my 5th time doing it since my friend who was taking the video is 18 years old and sucks at using any kind of technology..

If my form sucks it's because I was getting tired and frustrated.

I am 15 years old

shit, didn't do full ROM forgot to bend my back, back..

275 is nothing to be ashamed of at 15. If anything it is above average. It is hard to tell how your form was because of the direct front angle. It didn't look bad though. I think 275 lbs is impressive. How much do you weigh?

176 I started lifting at 135

You should be very proud of that. That's an excellent lift for a 15 year old; I know lots of people older who couldn't touch that. In fact, you should be proud that you are actually doing deadlifts. Good for you.

Yes actually, that is another good point.

Thats great, i doubt i could do that, like they said up there, be damned proud of that!

275's nothing to sneeze at. Good on you for deadlifting. I think even LESS people deadlift than squat. Too much hard work probably. Funny how hard work pays the most dividends, if only people would work that out. Your form looked pretty good. Hard to tell in the vid.

damn ur only 15 and u weigh 176? im 15 and im only 140

Don't get down on yourself. 275 is very impressive for your age and weight. You have many years to work on it

It's hard to tell form from a front view, you need a side view.

Indeed it is impressive. My brother just now worked up to 275 at the same BW and he's 20. Not that comparing yourself will really get you anywhere, but just so you have an idea. Also, while your form may not have been picture perfect that time (like everyone said, I couldn't tell), you obviously know what you're doing simply by the things you mentioned. So, first you deadlift (saying more than probably 90% of lifters), second you're 15 (saying more than 80% of lifters) and third you know the correct form (saying more than 99% of lifters). I'd say you're in the upper percentiles as far as your progress and knowledge, yeah... Keep doing what you're doing and you will go far.

great job! You did a full ROM, you locked it out.

Next time try and get a video from the side so we can see the form. From the looks of it I think you may have shot your hips up to quickly placing more of the load to be lifted by the lower back. If you can use your legs to really push against the floor adn lead with your head and chest coming out of the hole you can get more weight on that bar. It is hard to tell though because it is a front view.

Yea I know, the first time I had it perfect but I don't know after the 5th time it was kinda hard. May 4th the day after my birthday I am gonna have 7 people with like 4 different cameras take video so I will have at least one good video..

I agree with P-funk. The hips seem a little high and the back rounded just a little too much. That's a natural tendency, especially as you start to get tired. That said, I've seen many videos of people lifting serious amounts of weight with similar form. It is possible that your body gets used to lifting like that.

Keep at it. You'll be doing 3 plates soon.

I can't do that- yet!

awesome man. not just the fact that you dead at 15 and what not but you START IT OFF THE FLOOR. thats what counts, not a rack start where its already up. the first 6 inches off the floor are the hardest!
