ok so i have this 'skinny fat' around my lower abs not letting my abs show very well and im wandering how i should go about gettin them more ripped as this is the only place i have obv bf - im 5"8 10.10 stone....so 150lbs i guess so i dont think i can realy start cutting and get any smaller - so shud i just bomb my abs more when training or do i have to chop out all crap from my diet?

No, don't cut but it's all in the diet. That doesn't mean to diet, it just means to change your eating habits, lift heavy and your body will recomp and as you gain lbm, your "fat" will go away. Skinny fat people should never diet. They should only change their eating and lift in the gym.

What is your diet like? By the sounds of it, not to good

Jodi,

I have been cutting for awhile(about 2 years). I have lost an incredible amount of weight and bodyfat. I am 6'2 205 lbs. I have a large frame. A few of my friends have made jokes about me being "skinny" I still have more bodyfat to rid myself of. Am I correct in saying that I should be eating at maintenance and hitting the weights hard and I will reach my goal. I was thinking at first that I needed to start bulking to gain some more lbm and then start cutting again.

i think im at the same stage.....i cut down to a decent weight but the skinny fat is still there...(lower abs) what i think will be good for me is go on a maintain phase (try to gain LBM without any FAT) and let my body get leaner with time..... any suggestions or advice?
