As many of you know I am a Highschool footbal coach. I am trying to get all of my players in the weight room in preperation for summer camps and fall ball. I have run into a wall with soccer players. Their coach doesn't want them lifting with their leggs because it messes up their soccer game!! Fuck me. First off they aren't worth a shit and second off he has no clue about the benifits of strength in sports. He thinks it will hurt them. Any way does anyone out their have any good sites or litrature about the benifits of strength training for soccer athletes? I am trying to do this diplomaticly!

I think the NSCA has a bunch of free stuff to non-members. If I were you, I would join the NSCA, you get unlimited access to 25yrs of the journal of strength conditioning research, the Strength and Conditioning Journal, and a performance journal too. I can't think of anything accessible that is not from a paper journal I possess.
