Why does arginine need to be taken on an empty stomach?

IMO and experiences with powder forms of Arginine, I do not see why it has to be taken on an empty stomach. I guess some people would say that it inhibits digestion and absorption, but our bloodstream is already full of glucose and many many other molecules from metabolism, so I just do not see where it really matters taking it on an empty stomach as opposed to a full one. Just digestion time would differ, obviously because of the food.

Get up 35-45 minutes before your workout and take the Creatine and Arginine. Then, what your going to have to do is 20 minutes later, either start sipping on BCAA's pre, during, and post workout, or down a whey shake before the workout. You absolutely cannot lift while being in a fasted state, because then your body goes through gluconeogenesis where it converts the amino acid Alanine----->Pyruvate----->Glucose energy. This obviously burns muscle tissue in order to do so. So never lift weights or perform cardio in a fasted state.

Sure, that is fine. Your talking about 20 minutes or so before your workout, correct? Not sure if you care, but Cream of Wheat is a high GI carb. Some guys don't like them pre-workout, but I was just stating it to you. Everyone has different views.
