I need carb ideas -- fast!!

Hey, this week is called Passover, or Pesach in the jewish religion, and I am not allowed to eat any bread products or grains. This means no bread, no rice, no pasta, and nothing with corn in it. I can have potato's, plus this cracker type thing called Matzah (its unleavened bread... it's definetly not whole wheat though). Since I can eat potatoes, I was thinking of making a lot of sweet potatoes. No oatmeal in the morning, so I am really pressed to get my carbs, and not sure how to get them.

Should I just get all my carbs off of fruit this week? Any ideas on low GI carbs?

Lol, I'm in the same boat! Not to mention, I have a contest coming up this Saturday. I am eating tons and tons of sweet potatoes, veggies, Kosher chocolate cake/cookies and MATZAH bagels. I reccomend you buy them. You can't taste the difference between them and the real thing. Chag Sameach!

hehe, thanks .. I'll go with the sweet potatoes, some matzah and tuna, and ill go look for the bagels!

btw what part of Canada are you from? Just wondering if you're gonna be in the contest I was thinking of entering. PM me if you want.

what about legumes - chick-peas, lentils, beans?

Then the other things - Sweet potato... fruit... Dairy....
